Besides the unique Ferrari Superamerica 45, the event Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este took place over the weekend, there was another car, whose development has participated Italian studio Zagato. It’s a special Aston Martin V12 Vantage, which unlike the Ferrari Superamerica 45 series will be produced, albeit in limited numbers and the price will be around 200,000 pounds. The car was created to celebrate 50 years of successful collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato. It is so long ago the two companies started working together for the first time the project DB4 GT Zagato.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato will have two versions, one will have all the permits for movement on public roads and the other is a race designed to participate in “24 Hours of Nürburgring”. Both engine variants 6.0-liter power 510k.s. and maximum torque of 570 Nm. combined with six-speed robotized transmission. Cars will provide excellent performance, thanks to low weight due to extensive use of composite materials, but currently no data on it.
However, speculation appeared that racing Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.9 sec. It differs from the standard model in the presence of stiffer adjustable suspension, rear spoiler and other low weight.
