Porsche Boxster SpyderThe German company Porsche has developed a new version of the Boxster, which received the name Spyder. The car will debut at the world exhibition in Los Angeles in December, while sales in Germany will start in February with a starting price of 63 404 EUR. Porsche Boxster Spyder is the lightest model in the product range of brand whose weight is only 1 275 kg. It is achieved through lightweight construction and lack of a mechanism for retracting the soft roof that folds manually and using the manufacture of composite parts. In comparison with the versions of the coupe and cabriolet models, Boxster Spyder is distinguished by new bumpers, larger rear spoiler and rear of the structure changed over the unit. The car can also boast a new adaptive suspension and a lower center of gravity located, which is improved stability on the road. The engine of the Porsche Boxster Spyder is a 3.4-liter, as the Boxster S, but its power was increased by 10 h.p. to 320 h.p.

The car will appear in the company’s dealers in Europe in the first quarter of the 2010th, but his price will start from 156 400 euros. Convertible version of the Audi R8 has received a mild tilt, which is available in three colors, opens or closes for 19 seconds and is made of carbon fiber, so that its weight is only 30 kilograms. The car has a retractable rear window, which is independent from the roof and can remain raised, even when it is retracted, and function as a wind deflector. Although additional increased incurred in the construction of the car, its weight is 1 720 kg. That is only with 100kg. more than the Audi R8 V10 FSI. This was achieved thanks to its widely used in composite materials such as aluminum and carbon. Audi R8 Spyder exterior differs from the version on the new rear compartment lid with extra air vents for better cooling of the engine underneath, and in the absence of side “sideblades” panel. Moreover, the windscreen frame and vanes on the back cover are made of anodized aluminum.
