Jaguar currently working on several new models, including the recently presented XJ, the all-new Roadster XE, station wagon version of the XF, and possibly Sportback model. Meanwhile, work on the Land Rover Range Rover LRX, and on the new version of the Freelander. Since 2007 there were rumors of a new 7-seats Freelander. Freelander in general is a little shorter than its competitors, but its interior remains so generous. It manages to be achieved through relatively long wheel base. According to recent media materials in all new Freelander with the option of seven seats had to appear next year, but since the project was frozen due to the development of the LRX.
However, the project remains important for Land Rover, as the company has ambitious plans for him. And when 7-seats model runs, it is Land Rover’s expecting more than 70 000 annual sales for the whole family Freelander.
