Porsche modernized 911 GT3 R

At the end of June will be held legendary race “24 Hours of Nurburgring”, for which Porsche is preparing very seriously in order to triumph in their car in its category.
For this purpose, the German company have significantly upgraded 911 GT3 R Hybrid, as the greatest results were achieved in terms of fuel efficiency and vehicle weight.
The so-called Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0 weighs 1300 kilograms. Which is a full 50kg. less than the weight of its predecessor. This is achieved by using lighter materials for items related to electric drive system, resulting in maintaining high performance in lower consumption of fuel and electricity.
The hybrid vehicle system again consists of six-cylinder, 4.0-liter engine with a power 480 h.p. and two electric motors, whose capacities have been increased by almost 81.5 to 100 h.p. Electrical components necessary for energy not supplied by batteries, but by the flywheel which rotates 40 000 rev/min. and collects kinetic energy from braking.
