Yesterday it became clear that the new generation of BMW 5-Series will get a longer version, like its bigger brother, 7-Series, which, however, will be available only in the Chinese market due to its specific needs. BMW 5-Series LWB has a 140 mm longer wheelbase than the standard model, overall length is 3108 mm and all this coupe – 5039 mm at 4899 mm the short base. The long version of the new petition will be available in three modifications, the engines are 3.0-liter six-cylinder. Their capacities are 204, 258 and 306 h.p. as aggregates are combined with the new automatic 8-stage transmission. Since 5-Series LWB is aimed at major Chinese businessmen and directors of companies, the model has a lot of extras. Among them are Air chetirizonen, multimedia system with screens in the backs of front seats, automatic blinds and refrigerator, and the rear seat is specifically designed for this version. The premiere of the BMW 5-Series LWB will consist of the forthcoming Auto China 2010 exhibition, which will open on 25 April in Beijing, and the production model will take place in Bayern’s factory in Shenyang.

By Audi revealed pictures and details of the long version of the new luxury sedan A8, which has received more richly equipment than its predecessor and is longer and wider than its direct competitors. The length of the Audi A8 L is 5267 mm. Which has a 130 mm more than the short version of the model. The height does is just 2mm more (1462 mm) while the width remained unchanged (1949 mm) and the wheelbase has increased to 3122 mm. Differences in appearance between the short and long rides take place in the new grille and exhaust system ends in the second. Quite normal major winners from the greater area are rear passengers, the model can be ordered as three seats in the rear, and only two. In the second case between the two chairs and a refrigerator multi-functional console from which even pop up a small table.
