Lexus will produce only 500 units of supercars LFA, but it certainly will not prevent it received several special versions, the first of them is already available. LFA Special Edition boasts a number of mechanical improvements, compared with the standard model, including increased power of the 4.8-liter V10 engine with 10 h.p. to 570 h.p. achieved by fine tuning of the ECU-it. The car has also received a modified gearbox in which gear changing is done with 0.05 sec faster, and new suspension HPO, abbreviated from “High-Power-Only”. Lexus LFA Special Edition has improved aerodynamics, thanks to new front lip, additional wings of the new front bumper and rear spoiler made of material CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced polymer). Special version of the LFA will be available in black, matte black, pure white and orange of the cabin. Not yet announced what the dynamic performance and price of the car.

This was despite the extremely high cost of Lexus LFA, which is available in the Land of the rising sun against the sum of 37.5 million yen (about 410 thousand dollars). However, it is largely due to the fact that the model will be manufactured only 500 pieces worldwide. Originally from Lexus were announced that will collect all requests for LFA, and then will decide which customers to sell copies, but it is unclear whether they still adhere to this plan. In addition, Japanese cars will offer only a two-year lease, which aim to prevent the resale of vehicles by speculators. Lexus LFA has a 4.8-liter V10 engine, whose power is 560 h.p. in 8 700 rev/min. but its maximum torque of 480Nm achieved. at 6 800 rev/min. Drive is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed robotized transmission. The driver will have to choose between four modes of driving, depending on their preferences, while the most extreme car accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.7 sec. Maximum speed of the vehicle the sport has a limit of 325 kilometers per hour, but in some editions, if it is removed, reaching 350 kilometers per hour is guaranteed. Dimensions of the Lexus LFA are 4 505 mm in length, 1 895 mm in width and 1 220 mm in height and the distance between the two axes is 2 605 mm. The weight of the car is only 1 480 kg. As it was achieved thanks to the numerous lightweight components, such as bodywork, which is made of 65% of carbon.
