Wednesday, March 9th, 2011
As we have pointed out this year, Jaguar celebrates 75 years of putting his first car, on this occasion the company has created several special versions of their models. In early June we saw XKR 75, and now we see XKR175 and conceptual XJ75 Platinum. The event, which Jaguar used to mark the anniversary is Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in California, where three cars are out, and this is not accidental, since it is there most likely these models will find their future owners. As the name suggests, Jaguar XKR175 will be produced in limited edition of 175 pieces and will be priced starting from $ 104,500. Unlike XKR 75, in which power was increased by 20 h.p., XKR175 relies on standard 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 510 h.p. XKR175 boasts a new optical package including bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser and spoiler on the tailgate. Wheels are 10-spoke 20-inch with the color of the body is Ultimate Black, and the interior is designed with dark leather trim and decorations with wooden flooring. The concept does XJ75 Platinum is based on serial XJ long wheelbase and is equipped with the standard model for 5.0-liter V8 engine with a power 470 h.p. While the unit and suspension retains the same, the exterior and interior have suffered much modification.
