During the Motor Show Plovdiv 2009, BMW introduced the first audience to his new home models X1 and 5-Series GT, which sparked huge interest among visitors who came to see them a few days after their world premiere in Frankfurt. With the introduction of 5-Series GT, BMW launches a totally new segment – Sports Activity Sedan, or cars designed for people seeking a combination of personality, elegant and modern style, luxury and practicality, consistent with the needs and demands of an active lifestyle life that lead. 5-Series GT is available with two petrol and one diesel engine equipped with the most modern technologies of BMW EfficientDynamics, maximizing fuel economy. The 8-stage gearbox is automatic, previously available only in luxury limousine 12-cylinders BMW 760i. Particular attention is paid to the new six-cylinder in-line petrol engine, which will combine turbocharging, direct fuel injection (High Precision Injection) and VALVETRONIC, thanks to which the vehicle can boast a fast and accurate response when you press the accelerator.
