Texas tuning specialist Arturo Alonso and his team Gullwing America have created a unique new project revealed to both the form of computer graphics. It comes to Mercedes Benz SLS Panamericana, which makes the new SLS looks much more like its legendary predecessor classic Gullwing 300SL. This is not the first time that Alonso looks to the past and the traditions. GW America created a previously optimized version of the Gullwing with 5.5-liter V8 engine and power of 370 hp. Like his previous project, SLS Panamericana has specific hybrid panels to the body. This time the Americans have opted for aluminum and carbon fiber for both material which can be made seven different components of the body. There are also chrome. And not that the car does not look good, but probably would have been even better if he had a little more chrome accents on the grille, as in their previous project.

One of the cars, which certainly has not gone unnoticed by any of the visitors to 63rd exhibition in Frankfurt, is Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing, inspired by the legendary 300SL Gullwing of the 50 years of last century and received the opening up doors type of gull. Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing is equipped with a V8 engine with working volume of 6 208cm2. Whose power is 571 h.p. at 6 700rev/min. but its maximum torque of 650Nm achieved. at 4 750rev/min. The appearance of the car differs from all other models of the company with its dynamic design and a perfect weight distribution between front and rear axles (respectively 47 to 53 percent) and low center of gravity stress the concept of exclusive sports cars.

The super-car SLS AMG Gullwing, which is the successor of the legendary car from 50 years of the last century – 300 SL Gullwing, will debut in September at the exhibition in Frankfurt. Furthermore, at the end of last week it became clear that in 2015. Mercedes-Benz plans to launch its electric version, and, the first tests will be carried out in the end of this year. The engineer Arthur Alonso became popular with the concept Bentley S3 E, which developed together with Team Bentley Boys a year ago, presented his new project called Panamericana. The car represents a replica of the legendary Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, as its development partner Alonso in his company Gullwing-America.
