Porsche spread of photos and initial information about the extreme 911 GT2 RS, which is the most powerful production model in the entire history of the German company. The car will debut at the exhibition in Moscow in August, its owners will be only 500 people. The price of a sports car in Germany is € 237,578, while first deliveries are scheduled for September. Most remarkable 911 GT2 RS is definitely its engine, which converts the machine into the most powerful series-Porsche. He further elaborated version of the standard 3.6-liter 911 GT2, as power is increased by 90 h.p. to 620 h.p. Furthermore, the car has a 70 kg lighter than the 911 GT2, which combined with the power of 620 h.p. provides acceleration from 0-100 km/h for 3.5 sec, 0-200km/h for 9.8 sec and from 0 to 300 km/h for 28.9 sec and reach a top speed of 330 km/h. To ensure the most reliable braking and stability, the Porsche engineers have developed a special ceramic brakes and suspension for the 911 GT2 RS. The tires are size 245/35 ZR 19 front and 325/30 ZR 19 rear as well have been created exclusively for the model.

Further elaborated by the German tuner TechArt Porsche 911 GT2 improve the record for the fastest lap of the German Sachsenring track. Achievement of the car was 1’31 .94 minutes, which is almost 2 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, with 3sec – From the Nissan GT-R and about 4sek. – From the Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 V10. Elaboration Porsche 911 GT2 GTstreet RS is called and it was delivered even in the summer of 2008. It has a capacity of 700 h.p., which aims to 170 h.p. more than the standard model, as official figures are that accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.4sec and develop 350 kilometers per hour. To achieve this power, TechArt engineers have modified turbochargers and replaced cooling and exhaust systems. Also, the machine has received a firm suspension and aerodynamics and optimized through new bodikit. The price of the GTstreet RS in Germany is around 350 000.

Tuning, tuning and tuning again. This week focused on elaboration cars, but this is quite normal, given that Saturday will be open Essen Motor Show. From Wimmer RS have prepared him for his version of the Porsche 911 GT2 (997), which will be available against the amount of 281 000. Tuning specialists are equipped so-called GT2 Speed with two turbocharger and a new exhaust system, and have made several changes to the control unit of the engine, injection, inlet and exhaust valves, pistons and camshafts. According to Wimmer RS, GT2 Speed is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h for 3.4 sec and 0-300 kilometers per hour for 20.2 sec and the maximum speed reaching is 378 km/h.
