The star of the Tokyo Motor Show, which opens its doors to visitors on 24th, will undoubtedly be the new supercar to the Lexus. Although the initial concept was called the LF-A, the Japanese have decided to simplify the name of the serial model, eliminating the hyphen. Lexus LFA has a 4.8-liter V10 engine, whose power is 560 h.p. in 8 700 rev/min. but its maximum torque of 480Nm achieved. at 6 800 rev/min. Drive is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed robotized transmission. The driver will have to choose between four modes of driving, depending on their preferences, while the most extreme car accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.7 sec. Maximum speed of the vehicle the sport has a limit of 325 kilometers per hour, but in some editions, if it is removed, reaching 350 kilometers per hour is guaranteed. Dimensions of the Lexus LFA are 4 505 mm in length, 1 895 mm in width and 1 220 mm in height and the distance between the two axes is 2 605 mm. The weight of the car is only 1 480 kg. As it was achieved thanks to the numerous lightweight components, such as bodywork, which is made of 65% of carbon.
