The German company RUF, which generally deals with car tuning Porsche, recently has undertaken a major development of electric vehicles based on models of this brand. RUF has presented two versions of the electric Porsche 911, one will even come into mass production next year, albeit in a limited edition, and today the Germans have shown and all-electric Cayenne. The car is called Stormster, as it has three copies, which are used for ongoing now in the Copenhagen International conference on climate change. RUF Stormster has much in common with electric 911 Greenster, which debuted in Geneva in March. Both cars use the engine of Siemens, whose power is 367 h.p. It allows the Porsche Cayenne to accelerate from 0-100 km/h for 10 sec and develop a maximum speed of 150 kilometers per hour. Electricity needed by the unit, is supplied by a set of lithium-ion batteries, Li-Tec, allowing traveling at about 200 kilometers. without refueling, which in turn is in contact standard for 8 hours or in a specialized plant for about 5-6 hours.
