Mercedes-Benz introduced a new sport package for the hot C63 AMG, which has received name and Performance Package Plus includes both cosmetic and mechanical improvements. Mercedes engineers have increased the power of the 6.2-liter V8 engine 30 h.p. 487 h.p. by approaching to the C63 AMG DTM version (500 h.p.) model. This is achieved by reprogramming the software, wrought iron pistons, borrowed from SLS, new connecting rods and lighter crankshafts, the weight of the unit was reduced by 3 kilograms. C63 AMG with Performance Package Plus is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h for 4.4 sec and 0-200 kilometers per hour for 13.9 sec, which is respectively 0.1 and 1.2 sec faster than the standard car. Limitation of maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour is not removed. In addition to increased engine power, sports package includes a high-performance braking system for more reliable braking, carbon fiber front lip spoiler and rear, improving stability of the car and clad in nappa leather and Alcantara steering wheel.

From Mercedes-Benz presented a special version of the C 63 AMG, which is available only in Australia. The car is called Edition 63, as is clear from its name, from him shall be made only 63 copies, a price of each one of them will starts from 172 900 Australian dollars (about 120 000 euros). Although at first sight C63 AMG Edition 63 looks like a standard model of implementation can boast a unique 19-inch wheels in DTM style and choice of three exclusive colors – Platinum Black, Mystic White and Allanite Grey. By edo Competition usually deal with the development of tuning programs super-car, but the Germans apparently have decided to apply their abilities and “small” Mercedes C63 AMG. The car has been modified software management engine and new exhaust, catalytic converters and air filters. As a result of these improvements, the power of the 6.2-liter V8 unit increased from 457 to 555 h.p. and maximum torque – 600 to 680Nm. According to representatives of edo Competition, their version of the Mercedes C63 AMG is able to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 4.3sec and to remove limitation for maximum speed, it can develop 320 kilometers / hr.
