This year’s race the 24 Hours of Nürburgring was won by racing M3 GT2 factory team of BMW, in honor of which tuning company G-POWER has decided to release two special cars. The so-called M3 GT2 S M3 Tornado CS and have all the necessary documents for traveling on public roads, though their look is a racing car. The price of the first is approximately € 140,000, while that of the second has not yet been revealed. Both machines are equipped with the power tuning kit SK II CS, which increases the power of the 4.0-liter V8 engine from 420 to 600 hp and maximum torque of 580Nm already reached. It is included titanium exhaust system weighing only 26 kg. By G-POWER argue that M3 GT2 S accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 4.1 sec, while the M3 Tornado CS are necessary 4.3sek. Top speed for both is 320 km/h in combination with six-speed manual transmission and 330 km/h if the gearbox is a seven-DCT. Cars have been also aerodynamic packages and the M3 GT2 S is identical to that of race BMW M3 GT2, triumphed in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. It is made of carbon, causing the lesser of 150 kilograms. weight and better dynamics.

About a month before the BMW 5-Series GT to be introduced on the market last year by the tuning company Hamann has released pictures of his athletic program to model, but did not disclose details about her. It had to happen yet the exhibition in Frankfurt in September, but unfortunately by Hamann decided to keep us in suspense until yesterday and spread more technical details. The German pundits in tuning the car brand BMW has developed a model for a new aerodynamic package including front lip, side skirts, rear spoiler and a modified rear bumper. Furthermore, there is also adjustable sport suspension. As for the engine tuning, however, currently offer such Hamann only modification BMW 530d GT, which is equipped with 3.0-liter turbo. In its capacity increased from 245 to 275k.s. and the maximum torque is 620Nm. By Motronic reprogramming of the electronics. really the car is looking good, without any tuning and we just wondered what more Hamann can do, but really these guys know their job perfectly.

Yesterday it became clear that the new generation of BMW 5-Series will get a longer version, like its bigger brother, 7-Series, which, however, will be available only in the Chinese market due to its specific needs. BMW 5-Series LWB has a 140 mm longer wheelbase than the standard model, overall length is 3108 mm and all this coupe – 5039 mm at 4899 mm the short base. The long version of the new petition will be available in three modifications, the engines are 3.0-liter six-cylinder. Their capacities are 204, 258 and 306 h.p. as aggregates are combined with the new automatic 8-stage transmission. Since 5-Series LWB is aimed at major Chinese businessmen and directors of companies, the model has a lot of extras. Among them are Air chetirizonen, multimedia system with screens in the backs of front seats, automatic blinds and refrigerator, and the rear seat is specifically designed for this version. The premiere of the BMW 5-Series LWB will consist of the forthcoming Auto China 2010 exhibition, which will open on 25 April in Beijing, and the production model will take place in Bayern’s factory in Shenyang.

A few days before the new BMW 5-Series to make its official debut in Bulgaria by the German company spread photos and information about its wagon version. The fourth generation of BMW 5-Series Touring is the same in front with the sedan, but rear is a typical station wagon, the lines of the sports car highlight his spirit. The interior is typical for BMW driver-oriented cockpit and the interior is enhanced compared with that of his predecessor. The boot volume is 560l. But the rear seats folded it rose to 1 670l. Unique in the station wagon is that the rear window can be opened, then only the touch of a button. Blinds covering baggage, does it raise and lowered when opening and closing the tailgate. When introduced to the market in autumn, station wagon version will be available with two petrol and two diesel engines, all meeting the environmental standards Euro5, a technology with the optional BMW BluePerformance, the new BMW 530d Touring rules even cover Euro6. The first boasts exceptionally low fuel consumption of 5.4l/100km. And the second – with excellent dynamics, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h for 6.4 sec while spending an average of 6.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers mileage.

On motor show in Geneva, the German tuning company Alpina presented his new adjustments to the BMW 3-Series. It is called B3 S Biturbo and is available for sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Tuning specialists have made some improvements on the 3.0-liter gasoline engine, have replaced pistons, air filter and cooling systems and exhaust. These actions have led to increased power to 400 h.p. and increase maximum torque up to 540 Nm. Cars can be driven by both of rear wheels and a 4×4, in the first case the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in the sedan is a 4.7 sec and the maximum speed is limited to 300 km/h for safety reasons. Alpina B3 S Biturbo can boast with relatively low fuel consumption and levels of harmful gases. About 100 km elapse. are on average 9.7l/100km fuel and CO2 emissions are emitted 225 gr/km. German tuners have done their best and to give a slightly different form of the BMW 3-Series, but the changes were not significant.

It has long been known that the new BMW 5-Series will debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens its doors to visitors on March 4, but at the end of last week it became clear that the German company has prepared and hybrid concept model. BMW is said that the serial model of Concept 5-Series ActiveHybrid will set new standard in terms of the joy of driving and performance in this segment. Integrating ActiveHybrid technology ensures reduction in vehicle fuel consumption and exhaust emissions by more than 10 percent, while greater dynamism thanks to the additional power the electric motor. The propulsion system of the BMW Concept 5-Series ActiveHybrid consists of regular six-cylinder petrol engine with technology TwinPower Turbo, 8-stage automatic transmission and electric motor. Combustion assembly is assisted by an electric specially developed for the concept, which is compact and is located between the lines and transmission. Electric motor, draws its power from high voltage battery in the rear of the car and develop the capacity of 40 kW. Hybrid cars can run entirely on electricity, in which releases zero harmful emissions. At the same time start / stop function of the engine allows it to be turned off on stays of intersections or traffic jams. Optimized level of comfort is achieved thanks to additional air conditioning inoperative vehicle.

After G-Power demonstrated its capabilities over almost the entire product range of BMW, the German tuner has decided to show what he is capable and most powerful modification of 7-Series. Engineers have done a more than excellent with the BMW 760i, as their car, called a fully contiguous name Storm, will again be fighting for many records, as well as other adjustments to G-Power. The standard 6.0-liter V12 engine has been tuned control unit, new turbochargers, increasing pressure to 0.9 bar, bigger injectors and a completely new exhaust system, thanks to which its power has increased from 544 targets 725 h.p. at 5 500 rev/min. and its maximum torque of 1 000Nm already reached as is available in 2 000 rev/min. Although the Storm has not yet set an official record, we are sure he will be declared the fastest BMW sedan of all time, if not the fastest ever. By G-Power revealed that the vehicle may develop over 350 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h for 4.2 sec. To deal properly with extreme power tuning BMW 760i is equipped with 30 mm. lower sports suspension and a special aerodynamics package, further stabilizing the limo at high speed, consisting of a bonnet, bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser and spoiler, all made of Kevlar. The rims do have size 22 inches.

Just an year ago Lumma Design tuning company forward styling pack BMW X6, including an aggressive bodykit, 23-inch wheels, replacement of some metallic elements and carbon sports seats and steering wheel covered with leather and suede. A little later, however, dropped by the BMW X6 M hot and very competitive companies already submitted its tuning works, so that by Lumma Design could not watch indifferently and created its own version of the car. CLR X 650 M, named as the machine will debut in Geneva, it is the standard of Lumma bodykit for the BMW X6, but tuning the company’s engineers are well above WORK 4.4-liter V8 engine. Assembly has received additional 95k.s. which increased its power to 650k.s. and maximum torque 830Nm already reached. In standard 680Nm.
