New BlueEFFICIENCY engines for Mercedes E-Class

Mercedes E-ClassFrom September the new generation Mercedes E-Class, which made a world debut in March, will be offered with two new 4-cylinder engine – petrol and diesel. The model E 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY relies on the 1.8-liter turbine power units, whose power is 184 h.p. as standard comes with a mechanical gearbox and serial and equipment is included start-stop system. This modification accelerates from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 8.5 sec and develops a maximum speed of 232 kilometers / h, while average fuel consumption is 7.2l/100km. and emitted CO2 emissions – 169 gr/km. The new diesel engine is a 2.1-liter Mercedes and as fuel it is about 5.2 – 5.4l./100km. And emitted CO2 emissions – in the range 137 – 145 gr/km. E 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY accelerates from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 10.2sec and develops a maximum speed of 210 kilometers / hr

Mercedes C-Class with new engines

Mercedes C250The three economic engines that debut with the new generation Mercedes E-Class, already available in the smaller model C-Class. They are two turbo diesel and one petrol.
C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is equipped with 2.1-liter diesel unit, whose power is 170 h.p. and its maximum torque is 400Nm. It accelerates the car from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 8.4sec and gives an average fuel consumption of only 4.8l./100km.
C250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY used the same diesel engine, but this power has reached 204 h.p. and maximum torque – impressive 500Nm. The average fuel consumption is 5.1l./100km. And acceleration from 0-100 kilometers / hr 7.0sec occurs.
