The Company from Ingolstadt officially presented two versions of the new Audi S4, Sedan and Avant for 2009. Audi S4 provide official data on versions Sedan and Avant. They are driven compressor TFSI V6 with 3 liters volume, offering an impressive 333 hp and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. With this engine S4 Sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds, while a station wagon he needed 5.2 seconds. The maximum speed of both versions is electronically limited to 250 km / h. Novelty of the model is the active differential. Its main function is to reduce the resistance when turning the steering wheel. The new technology uses multi-plate clutch and electro hard to forward movement of each wheel of one of the two axes. The computer takes care of the car’s instantaneous reaction to changing traffic conditions, which is 100 milliseconds of data to Audi. Both versions are equipped with a dynamic system, Drive Select, which can be set to three modes of driving: comfort, auto and dynamic. Cars have adjustable shock absorbers, dynamic steering system and sport differential. The standard Audi S4 Avant impresses with its looks, but its 3.0-liter engine power is “only” 333 h.p.”, which in some cases is insufficient for lovers maximum speed. The more horses the better. This will no longer be a problem because the German tuner MTM started work with the task to increase the power of the Audi S4 Avant, through its M-Cantronic, as further progress is the result 97 h.p.
