Besides BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, Bavarian company presented its other hybrid models – ActiveHybrid 7, which also will debut the show in Frankfurt after a month and will appear in the market at the end of the year. Hybrid luxury sedan system consists of a petrol 4.4-liter V8 engine, electric motor, the unit located between the internal combustion and transformation of the automatic transmission, and Li-ion battery. BMW ActiveHybrid 7 has a total capacity of 455k.s. and maximum torque 700Nm. as a result of the combination between the two engines is acceleration from 0-100 kilometers / hr only 4.9ec., fuel 9.4l./100km. and 219gr/km. emitted CO2 emissions. The car has a Start / Stop system, terminating the operation of petrol in the aggregate idling. Hybrid BMW 7-Series has received a unique 19-inch wheels and only if it offers color body Bluewater, a model will be available in long and short version.

From BMW added a new model to its range of armored Security, at the end of last week announced a new model for the whole 7-Series High Security. Little heavy sedan comes with two “taste” – in the form 750Li and V8 engine or the 760Li and variant V12 unit. Based luxury sedan 7-Series High Security models are equipped with specific components for the chassis, which are adapted to the higher mass due to body armor panels. In this respect, it is necessary fortified suspension in healthy shock absorbers, springs, etc. Otherwise, for very special was used armored steel reinforced, and new remedies are part of the whole sun. Passenger compartment is protected by armored panels on the doors, roof, columns and walls producing cockpit of the trunk and engine compartment. BMW will use the vehicle exhibition in Frankfurt in September, to provide the serial versions of the X6 ActiveHybrid 7-Series ActiveHybrid, which, according to BMW are between 10 and 15 percent more economical and environmental equivalent of the petrol models. Both cars use a hybrid system, including 4.4-liter petrol engine with a power 407 h.p. and maximum torque 600Nm. and electric motor generating 20 h.p. power and reaching 210Nm. torque. From BMW has prepared for the Frankfurt concept of eco-sports car that bears the name EfficientDynamics Vision is constructed mainly of lightweight materials such as aluminum and Carbonia, and a propulsion system is a hybrid. From BMW also announced that this year marks the first time three of the group (BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce) will share a common roof of the exhibition.

The only drawback (if it can be called so) of the BMW 7-Series is not available with the four-wheel drive and lovers of German luxury sedan with a 4×4 system must choose between the Audi A8 and Mercedes S-Class. The German company BMW announced that it has completed development of their regular 3.0-liter diesel engine that will debut in the fall in the luxury sedan 7-Series. The new 3.0 TwinPower Turbo engine has a power 306 h.p. at 4 400 rev/min. and reaches a maximum torque of 600Nm at 1 500 rev/min. Units will replace the current 3.0-liter diesel, which is a power 286 h.p. also at 4 400ob/min. and maximum torque 580Nm at 1 700 rev/min. The company of BMW argue that despite the greater power, the new engine to consume 4% less fuel and emitted harmful emissions have also decreased from 192 to 178gr/km. Besides 7-Series, units will be available later in the model and 3-Series, 5-Series, X5 and X6.
