The German tuning firm Hamann presented a new package for the BMW 5-Series, which, however, is designed for cars equipped with M-Series package. The Hamann engineers have created a number of aerodynamic components that integrate seamlessly into the front and rear bumper 5-Series, M equipped with original package. The additional front lip adds to the attraction force, which also contributes carbon tailgate spoiler and roof. Moreover, there are new side skirts. In technological terms, changes occurred in the exhaust system was replaced with a new 4-round tip (only available for 550i). The suspension does is modified, leading to reduced clearance by 35mm. On offer for Hamann BMW 5-Series with M package also 21-inch wheels Anniversary Evo, and some elements of the layout of the interior, including steering wheel, aluminum pedals, carbon fiber and decorative mats with the logo of the company.

Yesterday it became clear that the new generation of BMW 5-Series will get a longer version, like its bigger brother, 7-Series, which, however, will be available only in the Chinese market due to its specific needs. BMW 5-Series LWB has a 140 mm longer wheelbase than the standard model, overall length is 3108 mm and all this coupe – 5039 mm at 4899 mm the short base. The long version of the new petition will be available in three modifications, the engines are 3.0-liter six-cylinder. Their capacities are 204, 258 and 306 h.p. as aggregates are combined with the new automatic 8-stage transmission. Since 5-Series LWB is aimed at major Chinese businessmen and directors of companies, the model has a lot of extras. Among them are Air chetirizonen, multimedia system with screens in the backs of front seats, automatic blinds and refrigerator, and the rear seat is specifically designed for this version. The premiere of the BMW 5-Series LWB will consist of the forthcoming Auto China 2010 exhibition, which will open on 25 April in Beijing, and the production model will take place in Bayern’s factory in Shenyang.

A few days before the new BMW 5-Series to make its official debut in Bulgaria by the German company spread photos and information about its wagon version. The fourth generation of BMW 5-Series Touring is the same in front with the sedan, but rear is a typical station wagon, the lines of the sports car highlight his spirit. The interior is typical for BMW driver-oriented cockpit and the interior is enhanced compared with that of his predecessor. The boot volume is 560l. But the rear seats folded it rose to 1 670l. Unique in the station wagon is that the rear window can be opened, then only the touch of a button. Blinds covering baggage, does it raise and lowered when opening and closing the tailgate. When introduced to the market in autumn, station wagon version will be available with two petrol and two diesel engines, all meeting the environmental standards Euro5, a technology with the optional BMW BluePerformance, the new BMW 530d Touring rules even cover Euro6. And the second – with excellent dynamics, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h for 6.4 sec while spending an average of 6.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers mileage.

It has long been known that the new BMW 5-Series will debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens its doors to visitors on March 4, but at the end of last week it became clear that the German company has prepared and hybrid concept model. BMW is said that the serial model of Concept 5-Series ActiveHybrid will set new standard in terms of the joy of driving and performance in this segment. Integrating ActiveHybrid technology ensures reduction in vehicle fuel consumption and exhaust emissions by more than 10 percent, while greater dynamism thanks to the additional power the electric motor. The propulsion system of the BMW Concept 5-Series ActiveHybrid consists of regular six-cylinder petrol engine with technology TwinPower Turbo, 8-stage automatic transmission and electric motor. Combustion assembly is assisted by an electric specially developed for the concept, which is compact and is located between the lines and transmission. Electric motor, draws its power from high voltage battery in the rear of the car and develop the capacity of 40 kW. Hybrid cars can run entirely on electricity, in which releases zero harmful emissions. At the same time start / stop function of the engine allows it to be turned off on stays of intersections or traffic jams. Optimized level of comfort is achieved thanks to additional air conditioning inoperative vehicle.

The next generation of the BMW 5-Series F10 is much anticipated by fans of the Bavarian car manufacturer. This is definitely a very important model for BMW, as we expect it to show the design direction the brand will take. The car amplifiers of the tuned model of Mustang and car subwoofers inside are making the work, really impressive. In the latest batch of spy photos we can see again another 5-Series. However prestigious sedan is masked by a significant amount of camouflage, so far from BMW continues to fail to see many of these designs. However, it would be logical to assume that be 5-Series will be drawing pretty design elements of this 7-Series and the recently Display # 5-Series GT. Representatives of BMW has said it be 5-Series will be a great looking car, perhaps even the most beautiful model of the Bavarian manufacturer. This, however, are the words of BMW, but it remains to speak and critics. Accordingly, the next generation 5-Series should offer the ideal combination of elegance and sporty spirit, enough to affect the market. Propulsion systems are expected to include the traditional six-cylinder diesel and petrol units. Interestingly, according to some rumors in the 5-Series to debut and four-unit direct-injection and turbo. Of course, we will not pass without a V8 options.

The 8-stage gearbox is automatic, previously available only in luxury limousine 12-cylinders BMW 760i. Particular attention is paid to the new six-cylinder in-line petrol engine, which will combine turbocharging, direct fuel injection (High Precision Injection) and VALVETRONIC, thanks to which the vehicle can boast a fast and accurate response when you press the accelerator.

Hamann spread of official photos of tuning program for BMW 5-Series GT, but unfortunately, not disclose any details about it, which will make the exhibition in Frankfurt in a month and a half. From photos we can see that the program of the German tuner of BMW 5-Series GT include new bumpers and ends of the exhaust system and many accessories with the logo of Hamann and several aluminum wheels. More details of Hamann BMW 5-Series GT during the exhibition in Frankfurt, which will be open to visitors from 17th to September 27th. The car, tuned by Hamann is looking aggressive, sports and of course very luxury. BMW 5-Series GT is fantastic can, with good engine and very luxury, but the tuning specialists of Hamann designed it to make it faster.

BMW introduced the production version of the official 5-Series GT, we saw the idea of the exhibition in Geneva in March. Although it carries in its name the initials GT, short for Gran Turismo, the model has nothing to do with this car, but positioned in a new segment known as the Sports Activity Sedan. The target audience of the BMW 5-Series GT are the people with active lifestyles looking for a combination of modern and elegant style, practicality and luxury. Front of the car is great reniform grid, wide air-transformers located at an angle and double headlamps, and giving a modern appearance. BMW engineers have designed a functional cover of the trunk consisting of two components. When placing a small luggage opens only the lower part, where goods must be something more obemisto, opens the entire cover. Payload, which accommodates standard car is 440l. But folding the rear seats, it can reach targets 1 700l.
