The Swiss tuning company Mansory we are used to aggressive and super-luxury vehicles such as the so-called Cormeum, is no exception. This is the car based on Mercedes SLS, boasting a completely new, carbon fiber body, which has reduced its weight compared to the serial model with 90 kg. The lightweight body kit also has improved aerodynamics, reduced the height and increased width of the machine. Mansory Cormeum is also equipped with specially designed wheels for it, whose dimensions are 20 inches front and 21 inches rear, new springs have lowered the car by 20 millimeters. Although no photos of the interior, the company said that it has a new center console, premium leather seats, steering wheel, aluminum pedals and carbon fiber trim. On Mansory Cormeum can enjoy it only 15 people in the world, because just as units will be produced by him. These lucky winners will also enjoy increased power to 600 h.p. a 6.2-liter, V8 engine, but now work is continuing on the unit, the objective of achieving a 800 h.p.

Carlsson presented their athletic program for the new Mercedes CLS, which includes a number of cosmetic and mechanical changes. With 2011 shaping up to be the year of low-carbon motoring, many petrol heads out there might be concerned that speed, style and luxury are being sacrificed for greener qualities by leading manufacturers. This, however, is not the case and the world’s top motoring firms are proving that eco-friendly cars needn’t be tiny electric trundlers.
Two of the big hitters of the industry, BMW and Mercedes Benz, have tied their colours to the green motoring mast with the launch of hybrid vehicles that deliver all the lavish features their loyal customers expect of them in a refreshingly low-impact vehicle.

Mercedes E300 BlueTEC HYBRID
Mercedes chose the Geneva Motor Show 2011 as a platform upon which to launch the company’s first ever hybrid diesel motor, the E300 BlueTEC. While the car possesses all the powerful, stylish, dynamic looks that Benz fans have come to love over the years, it also packs some wonderfully green features.
The E300 BlueTEC comes with a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of 204hp, as well as a 15kW electric motor that aids acceleration and recuperates braking energy. Together, the diesel engine and electric motor deliver 224hp and a torque of more than 280Nm, while consuming just 4.1 litres of fuel per 100km (109g/km CO2 emissions).
In purely electric mode, the E300 BlueTEC can reach 35 km/h and cover shorter journeys, meaning that drivers can move through city traffic without having to engage the diesel engine or consume any fuel. The diesel engine also switches itself off when the vehicle coasts down from 80 km/h, with the electric motor keeping the car in ‘sailing’ mode by maintain a constant road speed.
The combination of the electric motor and diesel engine make the E300 BlueTEC wonderfully agile in acceleration and fabulously fuel efficient. Tuning specialists have developed innovative Performance package, which is called ECO PowerXtra D6S and is designed for diesel 3.0-liter V6, which are equipped models S350 BlueTec 4MATIC, E350 CDI BlueEfficiency and CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY of Mercedes. We all know what he is capable German tuning company Brabus, as tackle some models of Mercedes, but when SLS AMG, and not dare to think what the monster will come out eventually. The standard Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series is definitely one of the most dynamic production cars in the world, providing acceleration from 0-100 km/h for 3.9 sec and a top speed of 320 km/h. The car however has managed to reach new heights thanks to the German experts from MKB, which have developed for him tuning package called the P 1000 and includes advanced air intakes, large turbochargers, improved cooling system, reprogrammed ECU and new camshafts. As you can guess yourself by the name of the package, the result of its installation is a power increase from standard 670 to 1 015 h.p. and maximum torque of 1000 to 1300 Nm. as far as actually limited.
