Japanese snapped up all Lexus LFA
Saturday, January 30th, 2010
Only three months after the official debut of the Lexus LFA, residents of Japan have a pre-order for all 165 copies for the home of the supercar. This was despite the extremely high cost of Lexus LFA, which is available in the Land of the rising sun against the sum of 37.5 million yen (about 410 thousand dollars). However, it is largely due to the fact that the model will be manufactured only 500 pieces worldwide. Originally from Lexus were announced that will collect all requests for LFA, and then will decide which customers to sell copies, but it is unclear whether they still adhere to this plan. In addition, Japanese cars will offer only a two-year lease, which aim to prevent the resale of vehicles by speculators. We remind you that Lexus LFA is equipped with 4.8-liter, V10 engine with a power 560 h.p. in 8 700 rev/min. and a maximum torque of 480 Nm at 6 800 rev/min. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.7 sec and can develop over 350 kilometers per hour, but for security reasons, its maximum speed is limited to 325 kilometers per hour.
