The popular tuning company Arden’s been cast in Developing the newest model of Land Rover. The project is called AR8 City-Roadster is based on the familiar compact crossover Range Rover Evoque. Tuned car boasts a new body kit which gives it an even more aggressive look and includes bumpers and skirts, and on request these can be equipped with attractive LED lights.
The appearance of the Arden AR8 City-Roadster is complemented by the rims Dakar II, who have tablet on which the client can display whatever you want. The interior is designed package does E-Solutions, offering a number of innovations in multimedia systems.
Arden engineers have gone through a 2.0-liter engine of the Range Rover Evoque, having increased his power 30 h.p. to 270 h.p. This is achieved through a new sports exhaust system and catalyst.

From Land Rover spread official information about the redesigned Freelander 2, which has undergone minor cosmetic changes, but on the other hand, has received a completely new engine and drive version with only the front wheels. The front of the car with new bumpers, grille and headlamps and rear tail lights were changed only. Moreover, new wheels measuring 18 and 19 inches, and three new exterior colors – Baltic Blue, Fuji White and Kosrae Green. New addition to the engine range of Freelander 2 is a 2.2-liter turbodiesel in charge of ecology standards Euro5, which will be available in two versions, and will replace the current 2.2-liter delivering 158 h.p. The version of the engine is called TD4 and generates 148k.s. and the other – SD4, as its power is 187 h.p. The first dynamic is identical to that of this 2.2-liter engine, but fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are emitted with lower values. The renewed Land Rover Freelander 2 will appear in the company’s dealers in the fall as its price in the UK will start from 21,695 liras, and the beginning of 2011, the model will now be available in a version just to drive the front wheels, whose price is expected to be lower. The modification of front-wheel drive will be available only in combination with 2.2-liter diesel engine with a power 148k.s. Furthermore, it will have a start / stop system, and average fuel consumption will be slightly more than 5l/100km.

With the financial support of the Indian company Tata Motors British car manufacturers Jaguar and Land Rover now have the freedom to expand their ranges with new models that previously would have been quite expensive. Jaguar currently working on several new models, including the recently presented XJ, the all-new Roadster XE, station wagon version of the XF, and possibly Sportback model. Meanwhile, work on the Land Rover Range Rover LRX, and on the new version of the Freelander. Since 2007 there were rumors of a new 7-seats Freelander. Freelander in general is a little shorter than its competitors, but its interior remains so generous. It manages to be achieved through relatively long wheel base. According to recent media materials in all new Freelander with the option of seven seats had to appear next year, but since the project was frozen due to the development of the LRX.
