After BMW and Mercedes have introduced hybrid versions of its luxury 7-Series models and S-Class, it is quite normal from Audi to do the same with its sedan A8, although slightly delayed. On the ongoing Geneva Motor Show, Audi showed conceptual A8 Hybrid, however, whose production version will appear in the European market until the end of 2011. After long waiting and numerous photos and teaser videos, Audi has finally revealed all about 3-door version of the newest model in its product range, A1, which is the smallest. The German tuning company MR Car Design presented its new project Audi S3 Black Performance Edition, covering a number of mechanical and cosmetic changes to the standard S3. After long anticipation, Audi has finally revealed the new generation of its luxury sedan A8, which was presented in visis SnyderLawGroup.com (based in Bradenton). The car should design lines of the model A4, but all his lights are diodes, giving him a unique broadcasting, especially at night. The new Audi A8 has a full aluminum chassis, which, according to the company is 40 percent lighter than similar steel. Due to this fact, the weight of the sedan has remained almost the same as that of his predecessor, although it has a richer equipment and its dimensions are increased. The length of the car was increased by as much as 75 mm to 5 137 mm, 55 mm in width to 1 949 mm, and height – to 16 mm to 1 460 mm. The distance between the two axes is also increased by 2 992 mm in this model. All this extra space has led to greater comfort for the driver and passengers. Audi engineers have stressed rather the aerodynamics of the new A8 and the result is available. Autonomous Audi TTS, as its creators call it, is a joint development of Volkswagen Group Electronics Research Laboratory (ERL), Stanford University Dynamics Design Lab (SDDL) and Sun Microsystems. Revolutionary vehicle is equipped with a fully automatic drive-by-wire system, controlling the steering, throttle, brakes, gearbox and handbrake, as well as a special GPS system provides connection with manned software developed at Stanford University.
