The second generation of the Mercedes CLS is comming

Mercedes CLSFrom Mercedes Benz set fire to directly market 4-door compartments when presented in a seemingly distant in 2004 his model CLS. Since then a series of competing in the luxury segment are trying to imitate the design. A perfect example of fierce competition models have been recently detected as a Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, and the upcoming Audi A7. From Mercedes did not reveal old laurels and has already tested the next generation of CLS. That test pattern was seen during the tests, revealing a series of interesting design elements around the new model. The car is expected to be released in late 2010 as a representative of the mock-up in 2011. Accordingly, the model will be positioned higher, so that it can compete with other representatives of the premium segment. This will also allow Mercedes Benz to launch a second 4-door coupe, which however will be more accessible and are said to be based on a smaller platform. Accordingly, the new CLS will have a wider track, and talk about the wider fenders. Rumors are that the platform will be borrowed from this flagship S-Class.
Innovation model, however, the hybrid option will be based on the same engine as in the recent revelations S400 BlueHybrid. Other options will include V6 and V8 engines. Of course, there will be more sporty AMG version.
