The new Infiniti M
During the 59th edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, held this weekend in Monterey (California), was presented the new generation of Infiniti M, by a special three-dimensional holographic presentation. In parallel, the Japanese company and distribute the first official pictures of the sedan from the middle class, which will initially be sold to 32 international markets and will face the leaders in this segment Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class. The new generation of Infiniti M comes with a completely altered vision, whose design is partly inspired by the sports concept Essence, which we saw at this year’s exhibition in Geneva in March. The interior of the car is refined style as it used innovative materials and from Infiniti argue that their customers will feel at home. The sedan received advanced air conditioning and new audio system, further contributing to the comfort of passengers.
The third generation of the Infiniti M is offered with two petrol engine. The old 3.5-liters of M35, generating 303 h.p. will be replaced by a 3.7-liter, whose power is 330 h.p., this modification will receive designation M37. The most powerful version of the sedan – M56 will be equipped by the 5.6-liter V8 engine, supplying 400 h.p. power, which comes in place of the 4.5-liters of M45, generating 325 h.p. Europe M56 will be replaced by a modification to the diesel V6 engine of Renault, whose power is 265 h.p. Sales of the new Infiniti M in the world will start in spring 2010 as the company has not yet disclosed pricing model and whether it will be offered with a system for driving the four wheels, or only one to rear.
