BMW 7-Series with new engine and the M-Sport Package
The German company BMW announced that it has completed development of their regular 3.0-liter diesel engine that will debut in the fall in the luxury sedan 7-Series. The new 3.0 TwinPower Turbo engine has a power 306 h.p. at 4 400 rev/min. and reaches a maximum torque of 600Nm at 1 500 rev/min. Units will replace the current 3.0-liter diesel, which is a power 286 h.p. also at 4 400ob/min. and maximum torque 580Nm at 1 700 rev/min. The company of BMW argue that despite the greater power, the new engine to consume 4% less fuel and emitted harmful emissions have also decreased from 192 to 178gr/km. Besides 7-Series, units will be available later in the model and 3-Series, 5-Series, X5 and X6.
From BMW also announced that in September will introduce the first M Sport package for the model 7-Series, which includes new bumpers, daytime running lamps, 19-inch wheels, and interior – seats and sports steering wheel and aluminum decorations.
