Tuned Porsche GT2 broke the record of Sachsenring
Further elaborated by the German tuner TechArt Porsche 911 GT2 improve the record for the fastest lap of the German Sachsenring track. Achievement of the car was 1′31 .94 minutes, which is almost 2 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, with 3sec – From the Nissan GT-R and about 4sek. – From the Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 V10. Elaboration Porsche 911 GT2 GTstreet RS is called and it was delivered even in the summer of 2008. It has a capacity of 700 h.p., which aims to 170 h.p. more than the standard model, as official figures are that accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 3.4sec and develop 350 kilometers per hour. To achieve this power, TechArt engineers have modified turbochargers and replaced cooling and exhaust systems. Also, the machine has received a firm suspension and aerodynamics and optimized through new bodikit. The price of the GTstreet RS in Germany is around 350 000.
This is the second extremely important achievement for TechArt within a few months. Recently tuned by their Porsche Cayenne developed 321.2 kilometers per hour the Italian track Nardi and became the fastest full-size SUV is the world.
